Iseo Lake

The artistic and natural beauty of Lake Iseo

A journey of discovery to the surrounding historic villages including the island of Montisola, Europe's largest inland island, that can be reached by ferry for a pleasant stroll immersed in nature and history.

Our proposal consists of an artistic and naturalistic tour to discover the beauties of Lake Iseo (about 20 km from Bergamo). In addition to charming villages with terraced olive groves, the shores of the lake are home to enchanting borghi such as Lovere, Sarnico and Iseo while the spectacular island of Montisola rises out of the water. Our tours (half or full day) can be tailored according to your needs.

Montisola, the green emerald of the lake, can easily be reached by ferry from different points. Once there you can choose to stroll along the island shores among the olive groves or climb up to the beautiful Santuario della Ceriola with its 360° view of the whole lake. For the more energetic, we can also organise a biking tour of 11km around the island.

Lovere, one of the most beautiful towns in Italy, preserves an authentic medieval centre with its typical tower-houses, its picturesque town hall and the wonderful Renaissance basilica of Santa Maria in Valvendra

Iseo, located on the southwest bank of the lake, maintains the charm of its several centuries of history: starting from the medieval church of Sant’Andrea we will wander through the cobbled streets lined with historical buildings up to the neoclassical Town Hall and its picturesque square.
